Emmanuel Iduma

I am a writer and digital consultant.

As a writer, my work spans fiction, memoir, and art criticism, including the books Farad, A Stranger’s Pose and I Am Still With You.

I am curator of Tender Photos, a platform of photography and visual storytelling, which I co-founded with my wife Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀.

I am also a researcher in the digital humanities, currently pursuing a PhD project at the University of Cambridge as a Gates Scholar. My research uses computer vision algorithms to deepen understanding about conflict photography and archives in Nigeria.

A short list of my writing is here. A full CV-styled list of most of my short-form writing (print and online, with hyperlinks), is here.

Read my longer bio. See some of my photographs. Listen to Intimate Strangers, a collaborative jazz album I made with Portuguese-American soloist Sara Serpa (also on Spotify).
